Movers Lane underpass looking east from footbridge to the west of the junction. This D3 effort first opened in March 2003, albeit with only 1 lane each way, but was fully operational by the following August. It replaced a rickety S2 flyover above a roundabout. Movers Lane heads north to Barking, while River Road heads towards the housing and industrial estates at Creekmouth, on the Thames. 1280x960 Bark04.jpg |

Approach signage for Lodge Avenue junction reads 'Romford, Becontree Heath A1153, Prohibited traffic [cycles, horse-drawn]'. The section between Movers Lane and the Goresbrook interchange in Dagenham received a limited upgrade in 2004, once the main Canning Town to Movers Lane upgrade was finished. Despite new streetlights being in place here since late 2004, the old life-expired ones are still in place at this time! 1280x960 Bark09f.JPG.jpg |

Pre-Ripple Road upgrade eastward view of the junction with Renwick Road, east of Barking. It's unusual given that eastbound traffic doesn't need to stop, but westbound traffic has to stop at lights for traffic turning right into Renwick Road to head south. This is the only interruption westbound traffic has to face between Benfleet in Essex and Canary Wharf along the A1261 Aspen Way. 1280x960 Bark27.JPG.jpg |
